Rod Fultz
The Lord brought Rod and his family to Gainesville / Haymarket in December 2001 specifically for the purpose of planting Grace Church. Rod married his lovely bride, April, in 1992, and God blessed them with four (now adult) children and five grandchildren. Rod served as a church-planting missionary in Florida, Texas, and Africa prior to coming to Northern Virginia. He is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDivBL 1992) and Old Dominion University (1985). Rod's heartbeat is to increasingly see disciples made (through the church) who in turn make disciples in the world.
Craig Daniell
Craig grew up in a Christian home in south Arkansas. By God’s grace, he heard the gospel at a young age and God saved him. As he grew older, God gave him more desire to study the Bible and help others follow Jesus. He pursued his undergraduate degree at Ouachita Baptist University (2015) and then achieved his Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (2023). In 2015, Craig married the love of his life, Kelsi, and the two have one daughter. Craig and Kelsi moved to Northern Virginia in early 2017, and they came to Grace Church in August 2020.
David Halstead
David and his wife Jennifer relocated to Northern Virginia for his accounting career after college. Though the Halsteads did not plan to live in the area long, God's plans unfolded far beyond their expectations. More than two decades and nine children later, including several through adoption, David has come to realize that God's ways are much bigger than our own. The experience of adoption, in particular, showed the Halsteads God’s love and sovereignty in all things, guiding them to Grace Church of Gainesville. David is on track to complete his MDiv in Biblical Counseling at Southern Seminary in June 2025. The Halsteads currently live in Warrenton and enjoy spending time with friends and family.
Asher Kenerly
Asher, a native of South Georgia, found his way to Northern Virginia during his college years at Georgia Tech. Upon graduation (BCS 2019), he accepted full-time employment at a software consulting firm in Warrenton. Asher married his college sweetheart, Powell, also a native of South Georgia, and the couple was blessed to be so heartily welcomed into the covenant fellowship at Grace Church of Gainesville. They welcomed a baby boy in March 2025.
The Kenerlys enjoy working with the Youth, leading summer retreats, and recently traveled to Kenya on a mission trip.
Jeremiyah Mullins
Jeremiyah has a heart for building a gospel-centered church on the foundation of a Biblical revelation of Jesus Christ. Before coming to Grace, Jeremiyah spent 25 years serving in Christian ministry in the Northern Virginia area. His background includes extensive involvement in Jail & Prison Outreach, Youth + College & Career Ministry, as well as Worship (including Sound, Audio Visual, and Logistics). Jeremiyah’s motivation for Christian service comes from a deep commitment to the Matthew 25 Mission and the Matthew 28 Commission. In addition to faithfully partnering with Christ as He builds His Church, Jeremiyah is committed to passing on both the fear and knowledge of God to coming generations. This shared passion led Jeremiyah to Grace along with his wife Kristin and their two boys, Brayden and Ezra.
