Secular Christianity – Judges 10-12

After believing the lie that God would not help them, Israel then exemplifies what a life of decision-making and sin-fighting apart from God comes down to: a series of negotiations.  It’s the secular solution to our problems and though it begins with mutual agreements and logical arguments that seem like win-win scenarios, it eventually leads to disaster.  Instead, as Christians, we are to trust God’s promises and do all things his way, not our way.
